Landscape

Crescent Head is an outcrop of Byabbara Bedrock which consist of lithic sandstone, siltstone, tuff, shale and limestone (Hastings - Geological Series Sheet SH 56 – 14). To the south are rocky cliffs (including Big Nobby) extending for approximately 500m until Goolawah Beach is reached. To the north is Pebbly Beach, Little Nobby, the entrance to Killick Creek and then Killick Beach.
