Physical Environment Landscape Crescent Head is an outcrop of Byabbara Bedrock which consist of lithic sandstone, siltstone, tuff, shale and limestone (Hastings - Geological Series Sheet SH 56 – 14). To the south are rocky cliffs (including Big Nobby) extending for approximately 500m until Goolawah Beach is reached.
